Good morning everyone and Happy Monday! After such a fun weekend with Mark and Cameron, I decided I wanted to come up with a summer bucket list for us to complete! We were out and about all day, we had lunch, went shopping, and just walked around. As I have mentioned before, Cameron is starting to walk on his own and it is so fun to watch him walk around and explore. With that I decided I wanted to create a summer bucket list for us to complete with Cameron! I am so excited for this summer especially because Cameron is all about exploring and getting out of the house. He loves to go to restaurants and to be outside! So I decided I would come up with a bucket list geared towards a one year old!
We already have a few things planned and they are all firsts for Cameron. Some of the things we have planned are his first beach trip and a vacation at the end of the summer. Some so I thought I would put it together so that you can have a bucket list for you and your one year old as well! Keep on reading to see more as well as a pinnable check list for you to have! Some of the items on the check list are specific to what I wish to accomplish with Cameron this summer but you can adapt them to where you live as well
This is not Cameron’s first summer but it is his first summer where he can really start to enjoy it. Last summer Cameron was too little to go to the beach so we left him home while we went on vacation and this summer he gets to enjoy ice cream and all sorts of treats with us! I love ice cream so this might be one of the things I am most excited about! Keep scrolling down to see what we have planned for this summer!
- First beach trip! – We will be heading to Maine at the end of the summer but we plan on taking Cameron on day beach trips here and there. I can’t wait to play in the sand with him and chase the waves!
- First trip to the zoo – We are lucky enough to have a zoo right in our town. I can’t wait to take him to see all of the animals.
- Fourth of July fireworks – Last year we did not take Cameron because he was still very little. We have a great fireworks display in our town and a parade! I can’t wait to take him this year.
- Boston Aquarium – Boston is only about an hour away from our town so this has been something that I have been excited to bring Cameron to since he was little. Going to the aquarium has always been one of my favorite things to do and I can’t wait for Cameron to experience it as well!
- Eat softserve on a hot day – This is a small task to complete. In fact I think we already may have completed it! But we can do this over and over again and it will never get old!
- Play in the rain – The joy of playing in the rain as a child is something I never forget. This will be so much fun to do!
- Go hiking with mom and dad – I love to hike and so does Mark! We have a great baby carrier that I can just strap Cameron onto my back and we can go for a hike!
- Go to swim lessons – Cameron has had swim lessons before but as a tiny baby! I can’t wait to go to swim lessons again and see how much he enjoys them! We also have a pool at our new home so he will need to learn how to swim.
- Go strawberry picking – Cameron loves strawberries so I can’t wait to take him this summer! This will be so much fun as well!
- Have a picnic in the park – I am lucky enough to have Cameron to myself most Saturday mornings. I plan on taking him to the park and packing up a picnic to enjoy!
Summer is just right around the corner and we are already planning ahead! Comment below on what you have planned for your summer bucket list and pin and print the image above to check yours off!
