With the holidays right around the corner, I have been doing everything to make my home feel cozy and warm. This year is certainly different than others so finding all of the holiday details has been helping me feel festive and happy to celebrate even if it is with just close family members. You may remember that last year I had the opportunity to share an amazing collaboration between Scotties and Genevieve Gorder and this year I am sharing how to make your home cozy with Scotties as well! You can find the post from last year here!
This year Scotties is introducing eight all new limited-edition boxes designed by Genevieve Gorder! You may recognize her name from some popular shows such as HGTV’s Trading Spaces (a favorite of mine) and Netflix’s Stay Here! You can also find out more about the Genevive Gorder Collection and get a coupon here!
Some of the designs include cozy knits, birch wood and pops of silver and gold that can incorporate into any interior design as well as holiday décor! I think my favorite is the cozy knit option! These boxes are stylish yet functional and the deigns are neutral enough to leave out all winter long.
Tips for Making Your Home Cozy for the Holidays
- Find some festive pillows – Pillows are the easiest way to update your decor! I usually opt for neutral colors but this year I wanted to bring in some holiday cheer! I found some amazing plaid pillows that are perfect for all winter long!
- Use Scotties boxes around your home – Geneveve Gorder’s limited-edition boxes are neutral enough to use all winter long. They are the perfect edition to your rooms this holiday season and throughout the winter because they are functional but also add a festive touch!
- String twinkle lights on your mantle and staircase – We have been finding a lot of joy this year in all sorts of lights. Cameron thinks that having lights on the Christmas tree, mantle, and everywhere in between is magical. And to be honest, I do too!
