Fall and Halloween are my favorite time of year. Since turning into a full time work from home Mom, I have been trying to think of fun ideas for Cameron and I to do together. This week, we tried pumpkin painting and I wanted to share some pumpkin painting ideas and what we used such as this pumpkin painting kit!
While I tried to get my toddler involved in using his thumbprint to create pictures on the pumpkins, what kid doesn’t love finger painting?! But he was more than happy to take a paint brush and paint a pumpkin on his own! I grabbed my own pumpkins and decided to do thumbprints! My thought was that we could create different pictures.
Some Pumpkin Painting Ideas are:
- Jack-o-lantern
- Witch
- Eyeballs
- Frankenstein
- Ghosts
- Candy
When looking for our supplies I searched for pumpkin painting kits! I found some great acrylic paints that were easy for my toddler aged son to use. The pumpkin painting designs I did were simple! I just dipped my thumb into the white for the ghosts and eyeballs and green for frankenstein. Once the base of the paint was dried I drew on eyes and other small details with both the acrylic paint pen and the acrylic paint from the pumpkin painting kit.
