The holiday rush is over and today I wanted to share a look I purchased to wear to an event a few weeks ago. The event was a local shopping event and I knew I wanted something that I would be able to be comfortable in all day long! Lately, I seem to have an affinity for off the shoulder sweaters. Even one of my good friends mentioned to me that I must have a ton in my closet, which she is correct! I can’t stop purchasing them in any and all colors. I love the look of them and this one which is a fringe off the shoulder sweater has to be one of my favorites!
My buddy and I have conquered a lot this year. We have gone on countless road trips, learned from each other, cried on hard days, and had endless amounts of laughs and snuggles. Today, I wanted to share a post that I worked on late last month that I never got around to. I wanted to share these adorable teddy bear mom & baby jackets that of course I purchased so that we would match! If you are familiar with my posts you know how much I love to match with Cameron. You can see a few of my favorite posts here, here, and here! Also, if you are ever in need of any type of baby inspiration, you can head right to the Baby category right under my recent posts!
This morning has been a mom morning for sure. I thought that sleep regression was over for Cameron however we have encountered a new stage of sleep regression! With Cameron turning 9 months old tomorrow it seems as though he is suddenly going through a ton of changes. He is talking more and more, wanting to be more independent, and wanting to move like crazy. I swear the boy is going to walk before he crawls! We have decided to start him on more solids and finger foods so he can learn how to feed himself more. For example, this morning he had scrambled eggs, toast, and bananas and he couldn’t have been happier! Since my morning was such a mom morning, I decided I would share a post on these fun, comfortable flats designed specifically for moms from Ja-Vie and my favorite Knit Your Love Cardigan!
Another snowy day here in New England calls for my favorite post to date! This little plaid dress was a last minute find as I was searching for plaid dress for a friend. I grabbed it immediately for Christmas and saw that luckily there is a shirt version which would look so good with black jeans and cognac boots! Throw on a puffy vest and you are holiday ready!
Last weekend after the snow storm my friend Sasha and I headed to the most beautiful Christmas tree farm I had ever seen. It had rolling hills of Christmas trees and was truly magical. It was chilly but the sun was so bright and beautiful that it actually felt warm on my skin. All of the trees were covered in snow and the sun glistened so perfectly off of them. I even said to her at one point that I didn’t want to leave! We frolicked in the snow, laughed, threw snowballs, slipped and fell, and had the best time! It sort of reminded me of being a kid again. No worries in the world on the most wonderful day of all, a snow day!
A few weeks ago, Cameron and I had a bridal shower to attend and not much time to find an outfit. With the holidays around the corner, I knew I wanted to find something so we could double up on events. Normally when I look for dresses, I look for things that I can wear to work but since Christmas was coming I was looking for things I can also wear for Christmas! I love wearing classic colors for Christmas such as red and green and spotted this insanely gorgeous ruffle velvet dress and knew I needed to have it! Recently, I decided to purchase ASOS Premier Delivery.
This year the holidays have a new meaning! With a little one who is full of awe and wonder I have loved every bit of the holidays so far. Everything from the lights on the Christmas tree to the first snow has been to much more exciting! We have had tons of family time for Thanksgiving and our schedules have been loaded the past few weeks with outings with friends and family. Since I am finally sending out our family holiday cards for this year I thought I would share a few of our photos! Our shoot was so much fun. Cameron was just starting to sit and stand on his own and our photographer, Stacey, captured the best moments. I can honestly say that Cameron is not camera shy at all! He put on the biggest smile ever when he saw the camera.
